Q: How did you venture into this field? Whose support would you count as most vital?
I have always had a strong intrinsic love for art and creativity. Being a person of few words, I use mediums like paint and my creations to convey my thoughts and emotions to society. My parents and my sister are my biggest supporters & my greatest blessings.
Q: What challenges did you face while setting up your handicrafts business, and how did you overcome them?
Art is therapy for me, but I still struggle with the business side of marketing and selling, a constant need to find inspiration to fuel creations.
Q: How do you ensure your work is totally in tandem with nature?
I have always believed in sustainably and use recycled clothes for my creations. People are now choosing to buy local and handmade products, which promotes healthier living and protects the environment.
Q: Are you happy with the progress your enterprise is making? What are your plans?
I still have a long way to go, but when people like and appreciate your creations, it's rewarding to know that my work is making a difference. Every year, I try to introduce new offerings to the customers to increase brand recognition and to grow online presence.
Q: Your advice to those who wish to join the same profession.
People who wish to become artists need to be gentle with themselves and create art that genuinely interests them. Don't force a style or chase an audience or a trend.
