Regular cakes are unhealthy for pets

Q: You bake beautiful cakes for dogs. How did you think of giving a try to them?

My love for dogs started when we gifted a pug to my daughter. I adored animals earlier as well but Pixcey- our pug- made me realise true love for them when I started baking for my pet. I used to get calls for dog cakes and I felt this was a brilliant idea if we humans can have cakes then why can’t they, and I started baking simple healthy treats for dogs.

Q: How heathy are they and what special precautions you keep in mind while baking them?

While baking cakes for dogs you need to avoid grains but still whole wheat flour can be given. I generally add vegetables, and peanut butter is the main ingredient which is loved by dogs.

Q: Despite being outstanding at it, why are you not going commercial with pet bakes?

Getting commercial with Ddog cakes will take time in my city because the number of requests I get are not enough for my commercial requirements.

Q:What are major challenges in setting up a business in pet bakes (cakes etc.)?

People here still feed regular cheap cakes which for sure are not good for the pets.

Q: What is your advice to those who wish to learn baking for their furry friends and then go commercial?

I am planning to teach some simple easy peas recipes which people can bake at home with simple ingredients and then they would certainly not feed the dogs regular cakes which are extremely unhealthy.
